Compliance activity and accreditation surveys against nationally set standards for safety and quality support us to monitor, review and continually improve Best Care.

The Live Best Care site contains information on the following national accreditation schemes:

NSQHS Standards:

The National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards provide a nationally consistent statement of  the level of care consumers can expect from health services. Western Health undergoes mandatory assessment against the eight NSQHS Standards. This takes the form of 3 yearly organisation-wide accreditation surveys.

Aged Care Quality Standards:

All government-funded aged care providers are required to comply with eight Aged Care Quality Standards. The standards reflect the level of care and services the community expects from aged care providers.
