As we prepare to commemorate Anzac Day, I would like to acknowledge the many Western Health staff and volunteers who have served in Australia’s defence forces over the years.
Anzac Day is a time for the community to come together to remember and recognise the service and sacrifice of members of the Australian Defence Force; a public expression of gratitude and reflection which resonates to the present day.
On behalf of Western Health, we honour your service and your contribution. We are proud to have former defence force members among our colleagues.
On Anzac Day, we at Western Health will pause to reflect.
We will remember the fallen, the wounded, and all those who have served – and continue to serve – our nation.
“They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
