New ‘People’s Hospital for the West
Construction of the new Footscray Hospital is well under way, with the $1.5 billion new facility on track to open in 2025.
The state-of-the-art hospital, being built on the corner of Geelong and Ballarat roads, will allow Western Health to treat an extra 15,000 patients a year.
