As we prepare to commemorate ANZAC Day, I would like to acknowledge the many Western Health staff and volunteers who have served in Australia’s defence forces over the years. We honour your service and your contribution and we are proud to have former defence force members among our colleagues.
At this time when we see the suffering of so many in Ukraine, the humanitarian impact of war is brought into focus once more.
On Anzac Day, we at Western Health will pause to reflect. We will remember the fallen, the wounded, and all those who have served – and continue to serve – our nation.
“They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
