Dear All,

With just over a week until 1 July, when Mental Health staff will transition to Western Health, the WH Mental Health Transition and Integration Team have some updates to share with you all.

Morning Tea: 

Welcome morning teas for staff will be held on Wednesday 5 July in/near your service area, more details will be distributed shortly.

For now, please make a placeholder in your diary for 10am on Wednesday 5 July.

Staff Survey:

By now, you should have received an individual survey link from Evaluation Solutions.

This short survey is a quick check-in to see how you are travelling and what this experience has been like for you. The survey will close on Friday 23 June.

Staff Forums:

Please join the Mental Health Services Leadership Team for ‘ask us anything’ forums to prepare you for your move to Western Health.

Roster On:

WH uses Roster On, the same as RMH.

All staff rosters currently in RMH RosterOn will be transferred across to Western Health’s Roster On.

Further instructions will be commmunicated to program managers within the coming week.

Payroll:

Your existing pay periods will be maintained.

For employees currently on the Melbourne Health N pay run, these staff will transfer to the Western Health N pay run and receive their first pay from Western Health on 19 July 2023.

For employees currently on the Melbourne Health H pay run, these staff will transfer to the Western Health H pay run and receive their first pay from Western Health on 26 July 2023.

Email and Desktop (visual) changes: 

Please note the following changes occurring as part of the Mental Health transition in relation to email addresses and desktop skins.

As of the 22 June, you will see new Western Health (WH) branding on the desktop of your relevant device and your email address will now appear as <Firstname.Surname>@wh.org.au to recipients.

In the case that emails are sent to your mh.org.au email address, these emails will still appear in your inbox.

For staff who already have a Western Health email and username, these details will remain the same.

For casual bank staff – You will receive a new Western Health email, username, and password. Information regarding this will be distributed to you via email.

Please be aware that some staff may notice a screen pop-up when they select Outlook. If this occurs, please follow the attached instructions.

If you do not see desktop or email changes as of the 22 June or have any other issue related to these changes, please email or call The Western Health Service Desk: Servicedesk@wh.org.au, 03 8345 6777.

**Please note we have identified some staff who will not follow the above process, you will receive separate communication if this applies to you

Riskman:

From midnight 1 July 2023, all incidents that occur in mental health and wellbeing services will need to be entered on the WH Riskman.

The WH riskman can be accessed here WesternHealth – Sign In (wh.org.au)

Access to riskman for all staff is currently in progress and will be finalised once you have an allocated WH email. For further information regarding accessing Riskman, please refer to ‘Accessing Riskman System’.

Carparking forms:

ALL staff need to complete the new carparking form in order to continue using the on-site carpark.

Managers should have access to this form, but please find the form attached.
