Leadership Development 2024

Nursing & Midwifery Directorate sponsor a wide range of programs designed to develop our managers and leaders, irrespective of where they are in their career. We also have programs designed to support, develop and enhance our clinical leaders in their roles.

  • Transforming Leadership Capability (TLC) – for Unit Managers

    A four day intensive program for Nurse and Midwife Unit Managers which enables participants to understand ‘self’ before better understanding how to provide the type of contemporary leadership to get the most out of their teams.

  • Advancing Frontline Management (AFL) – for Associate Unit Managers

    Advancing Frontline Leadership for Associate Nurse and Midwife Unit Managers is a high calibre development program specially designed for the AUM group.  It has been designed to meet the emerging and future needs of this key group of Western Health leaders. Expand your leadership skills and play a major part in the future of Western Health.

    All session are held in the Western Health Centre for Research and Education at Sunshine Hospital.
