Western Health Digital Technology Services (DTS) and Digital Health (DH) Divisions have some exciting updates for transitioning staff. See below updates on Transition Champions, changeover of desktops to a WH “look and feel”, and the much-anticipated update of MH emails to become WH email addresses under an alias, ensuring no disruptions to current email services.
Transition Champions
During the first two weeks of May, transitioning Mental Health employees came together for successful introductory sessions into the role of transition champions within Digital Health and DTS.
Sessions are underway, with the second taking place this week. If you are still interested in getting involved and becoming a transition champion, please discuss this opportunity with your manager as they will be required to nominate you.
Changing of desktops
The first deliverable for the transition champions is the changing of desktops to Western Health desktops. Selected champions will have their desktops changed to reflect Western Health. This change is cosmetic only, all RMH links and shared drives are still accessible for these employees.
All July 1, 2023, IT changes will be cosmetic only implemented by RMH to reflect the WH brand.
Disaggregation from the RMH network and services will commence after July 1, 2023.
Email addresses changing to Western Health
Staff will be receiving Western Health email alias. All emails sent to the Western Health alias email address will be delivered to the same inbox that is currently on the RMH infrastructure.
