Day leave and overnight leave are an important part of facilitating recovery and wellbeing for some patients at Western Health.
The Day and Overnight Leave document is designed to describe the COVID screening and testing requirements for patients taking day leave or overnight leave to minimise risk of transmission.
Please refer to this document for information on who is permitted to have day or overnight leave and the process required when patients return to hospital.
During day or overnight leave, patients should be provided with the information leaflet included in the document as Appendix 1 for tips to stay safe during day leave.
