Doug joined Western Health in 2007 in the role of Director of Nursing & Operations at Williamtown. Doug completed his training at RMH as one of 10 men in his class.  Doug has a Post Graduate diploma in Business Administration and a MBA (Deakin University).

Doug has held various nursing roles and has an extensive and varied clinical background. Before commencing at Western Health, Doug worked in leadership roles at Monash, North Western Health Care, St Vincent’s and Royal Melbourne Health.  He also spent 3 years consulting for VHIA and the private sector.

At Western Health, Doug has a major portfolio of major projects, and provides professional leadership for the Western@Home.  Doug has a keen interest in strategic workforce planning, identifying talent and developing innovative and creative models of nursing.
