As part of the 2022-23 State Budget, the Victorian Government committed $59 million to support 1,125 registered undergraduate student of nursing (RUSON) positions and $9.8 million over to support the maternity workforce per year for two years, including 147 registered undergraduate student of midwifery (RUSOM) positions.
The following brief survey is being undertaken asking feedback from RUSONs and RUSOMs to provide feedback to support the evaluation of the program:

The evaluation is being conducted by the Department of Health’s, Centre for Evaluation and Research Evidence (CERE).
