There are now just 17 days until the commencement of the EMR Phase 2.1 Go-Live on Sunday 9th July.

As we continue our countdown to the Go-Live, please find attached Number 3 in the Nursing & Midwifery Top 10 – Enteral Nutrition.  EMR Phase 2.1 will see the introduction of Enteral Nutrition Ordering and Documentation in the EMR.

With the Go-Live just a couple of weeks away, please remember to complete EMR Phase 2.1 training which is available online via WeLearn:

  • A WeLearn package does not need to be completed in the one session, it will save as you progress through and can be returned to at a later time.   A package can also be completed a second time, or more, to further enhance understanding.
  • When you have completed training, please remember to tick the Final Acknowledgement box to ensure your training completion is recorded.
  • If you work across different specialties there may be multiple WeLearn packages relevant to you.  If you have any queries regarding which package to complete please contact – WHS-EMRTrainers@wh.org.au

For those staff who require additional support after their WeLearn training, optional in-person classroom training sessions are available until Friday 30th June.

  • Staff who prefer classroom training are also welcome to book into one of these in-person classroom training sessions.  Please check with your manager before booking in.

Once you’ve completed your WeLearn training, practicing is immensely important to help further increase understanding. You have access to the EMR practice environment via the Nursing & Midwifery EMR Super Users for your area. Each Super User received an EMR practice environment login as they completed their training and have been encouraged to share this with their colleagues.

It’s great to see the Nursing & Midwifery Top 10 poster series displayed across the EMR sites as we count down to the Go-Live. NUM’s and MUM’s, if you are missing printed copies of any of these posters please contact Kylee Ross – Kylee.Ross@wh.org.au

If you have any EMR Phase 2.1 queries, please do not hesitate to contact:

Thank you all for your continued support in these final weeks leading in to the Go-Live.
