iPM Patient Manager is the patient administration system for Western Health. Activity data is recorded within iPM for Specialist Clinics Outpatients and TCP patients. The data recorded is sent to the Victorian Integrated Non-Admitted Health (VINAH), which then generates funding for the hospital. There is a minimum level of data required for VINAH to accept an appointment, contact or referral.

iPM training manuals can be accessed here.

To access iPM, you need to have a professional carer’s ID (PROCA). This can be requested from the ICT Service Desk.

Transitional Care Program (TCP)

In order to meet the minimum requirements of data for TCP, the Allied Health Data Office regularly sends out error reports to managers and clinicians when data is missing or has been entered incorrectly. TCP patients cannot be scanned with an ABC Scanner. For information about TCP and its integration with ABC, along with training material, see menu to the right.
