The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) are currently reviewing the Registered Nurse Standards for Practice.
The revised RN standards for practice will establish a shared and agreed understanding of the practice expectations of RNs in Australia. Registered Nurses and roles adjacent to RN education or practice are invited to participate in the review to inform and contribute to the revised RN Standards for practice.
Ahpra and the NMBA have commissioned Professor Julia Morphet and her team of researchers from Monash University to undertake this review.
If you are interested in participating in this review, please read the Explanatory Statement about the online interviews that will be conducted to discuss the RN standards for practice before making a decision about participation in the study.
