Its back!! The People Matter Survey 2022 was launched at Western Health on Monday 10 October.

The independent survey is run by the Victorian Public Sector Commission and provides staff with an anonymous way to share their experiences about their workplace.

Western Health is provided with de-identified results to help us understand the things we are doing well and where we need to improve.

There is a big focus on wellbeing. You’ll be asked about your job satisfaction, diversity and inclusion and work-related stress.

I know it can be tricky to find the time to complete the survey, but your voice really matters.

Your feedback helps us understand what Western Health does well and also importantly what we can do better.

We only receive de-identified survey results and these always help improve our workplace and culture.

In the past the feedback you gave us led to: new wellbeing supports, enhanced employee and patient safety and helped drive feedback and recognition initiatives.

This year we are told the survey is slightly shorter, questions are less repetitive and it takes 15 minutes to complete.

To encourage participation and show our appreciation for your support, we’ll be revealing a raft of exciting prizes, including a raffle you can enter once you complete the survey.

There will also be a prize for the division/s with the highest response rate.

Stay tuned for more details over the next three weeks.

How to start the survey

Click on the survey link before Friday 28 October 2022.

Keep an eye out for posters and postcards with a QR code that you can use to complete the survey on your phone.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Anne Wright: anne.wright@wh.org.au, 0403 369 350, or Scott Peterson: scott.peterson@wh.org.au, 0401 357 575.

Whilst participation in the survey is voluntary, I would like to have a response rate of at least 33 per cent. Thank you in advance and I look forward to your support in helping us reach this goal.
