On Wednesday 17 September, PMCV released the graduate match results for 2026.
Western Health has continued to perform very well with a:
- 100% match for nursing
- 100% match for combined nursing/mental health
- 100% match for midwifery
- 100% match for mental health nursing.
This is our 8th year in a row of achieving a 100% match, which is a huge team effort:
- by the Education team through the promotion of the program and the design and delivery of our high quality graduate programs that are constantly evaluated and improved
- with excellent support given in the clinical areas by clinical educators and clinical support nurses/midwives
- with the wonderful support from our Unit Managers and the nurses and midwives on our clinical wards and departments in supporting our undergraduate students and early career nurses and midwives.
This year we had a record number of applicants, that ultimately enables a 100% match (which is with high ranked candidates). This is great news for a continuing strong nursing and midwifery workforce at Western Health.
