On Thursday morning, a major police incident occurred in Barrie’s Road, near our Melton COVID testing site.
The incident was distressing for our staff on site as they were unable to assist and were initially unclear about what had occurred.
Our staff responded in a highly professional and compassionate manner. They have since been offered debriefing and employee assistance support.
The testing site was closed after the incident occurred but has reopened today, operating at usual hours 8.30am-4.15pm.
We will continue to provide support for those staff involved and I would like to thank them for their response.
