A COVID safe Positive Workplace Week
2021 brought very different look to our Positive Workplace Week Celebrations with Western Health striving to find ways to celebrate our events in COVID safe way that are fun and different.
In such a busy environment, with such great demands on us it was wonderful to see how many staff were able to take a bit of time to take part in our positive workplace week program, celebrating our efforts and continuing to make Western Health a positive workplace.
Wellbeing Webinar
The Wellbeing Webinar with Paige Williams “How to Struggle Better” – in preparation for what is likely to be our most challenging time. What was meant to be a sprint, turned into a run and is now feeling like an ultra-marathon. It’s not surprising that we’re feeling fed up and fatigued with it all. There’s no silver bullet, but there are ways we can look after and manage ourselves to reduce the struggle and move towards thriving.
Spring Pop Up
A Spring Seed giveway pop up stall was held at both Sunshine and Footscray, with messages of thanks hand written from the staff of Bunnings in Altona.
Westerly Jo Stanley
Many staff took the opportunity to log in join the Westerly Live session “You’re doing Great with Jo Stanley”, an interactive session with some very useful strategies to assist with the harder parts of life. Watch it here.
Edible Gardens with Craig Castree
A perfect live session to tie in with the Spring Giveaway during the week, learn how to produce food within your existing garden. A really information session on growing tomatoes! If you have a veggie garden it’s a must view – watch it here.
Positive Workplace Pop Up
In lieu of our usual BBQs and leader walkarounds, another one of our very popular pop-up stalls was held with our leaders saying thank you and handing out some PWP goodies.
