It was a sprint to the post, but the race is over!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the People Matter Survey 2022, which closed on Friday October 28.

It was great to see the overall response rate for Western Health was 31.5 per cent, which means 2666 employees took the time to share their view on what we do well and how we can improve our workplace with free text comments and helpful feedback on other questions.

Now it’s time to reveal the winner of the Great Response Rate Race— the aim was to turn filling in the form into a sport— well, with Melbourne Cup on the horizon, why not!

The team with the highest survey response rate at Western Health was Allied Health.

More than three quarters of Allied Health staff completed the survey, so thank you and congratulations on a fantastic effort!

We then had a tie in second with Digital Technology Services and Digital Health and People, Culture and Communications, and Bacchus Marsh and Melton was third.

See how your team fared on our final scorecard.

Ten members of the Allied Health team will now be turned into caricatures by acclaimed artist and former Melbournian, Will Baker, who designed the ‘iconic’ cartoon characters featured in the survey promotions.

In addition to the divisional team prize, 19 raffle prizes were given away to staff, including: spa vouchers, hampers and travel cutlery sets.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to complete the survey.

The Victorian Public Service Commission will provide us with a summary of the anonymous results in December.

We look forward to sharing a summary of the feedback with you early in 2023 and letting you know how we will use this information to drive improvements in our workplace.
